Our Friend, Steve Smith, has the pleasure and honor of knowing Bobbie-Jo Lawrence,
a Federal Medic who was sent out to New York to help in the efforts during 9/11 (as well as other disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, among others). Her children were students of Steve's for a while. Unfortunately, being exposed to toxins during the ordeal of 9/11 has resulting in years of battling cancer that originated in her breast(s) and spread to the fluid in her brain, & spinal column - there is no history of cancer in her family.
The link below is to help make a donation towards the impeding funeral costs, and to help alleviate the costs of medical bills.
Please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can, even just the time and effort to spread the news towards helping the young children (19, 17, 14, 13, 13, 12, and 7) that will be losing their mother at such a young age in their lives. This fundraiser will end on January 1st, 2013.
